A first Postcard from Bulgaria - Bansko

 
Thank you to my lovely friend
 
Linda of Travel Tales
 
who had a recent holiday 
there with one of her daughters.
This is just one of the places 
they went too.
 
Bansko is a ski resort in south western Bulgaria,
 about 85 miles south of the capital, Sofia.

The town is located in the foothills of the
Pirin Mountains at an altitude of 925m.

    Hi Anne. Yes, Linda really is an avid reader! It's exciting to receive postcards from far away places , isn't it?! I didn't realize that Bulgaria had ski resorts either !

      Hi Diane , Linda is SUCH an avid reader , cannot keep up with her lol ,, Very exciting to receive all these postcards , and great when you do not know you are getting one, As I said I did not know about ski resorts , in fact I have never thought about it before. It is interesting what I find out , when googling for info for my posts. take care x

    So glad that you were pleased with your postcard, so sweet of you to do a special post. Ola has called by to visit me thanks to this blog and I am now following her. By the way just a small point, although I did go to Myanmar with my daughter, it was my sister and brother-in-law that I went to Bulgaria with. :)

    Nice post card. I myself have never been to Bansko but it looks like a nice snowy place to visit.
