Even though I say so myself ...
I absolutely am over the moon
with the finished and fired jug,,
Believe me , when I saw it today,
I thought
"Did I really paint that"
No drawing , just straight on with the paint.
Is it wrong to love your own work so much??
I think it looks like a meadow!

ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! It does look like a meadow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful one-of-a-kind pitcher, and your talent is evident with the soft colors and design. I have a few pieces of pottery and raku that I made many years ago, and from where I sit I can see them daily. I hope that you have a special spot planned for your art creation.
ReplyDeleteLoved going back and reading of the trip to Nice and Monaco that you and Linda took. The architecture is amazing and the colors just speak of southern France.

Wow, wow and Wow! That jug is so beautiful Anne, and, yes, it does look just like a meadow. I love the soft colours that you have used. I can't believe that you just put the paint right on like that. You should be very proud of yourself, and I hope it will take pride of place in your home! Have a good weekend x
