My little taste of Italy...


My Olive Oil by Bertolli..Canned Cherry Tomatoes from Puglia and some Sicilian Lemon juice from the Conca d'Oro region of Sicily.

  2. Hi.I have tried recipes, but just never got round to any photos, and my family think I am nuts when I do:-) ha ha...next time I will though.

  6. The only thing you need to make a decent meal is some pasta...preferably fresh but dried is okay. Are you up to making your own tagliatelle?? ;-)

  7. Olive Oil, I don't how anyone can do without it!!! Or Lemons for that matter! Doesn't everyone love Italian food? I haven't anyone who doesn't.

  11. The beauty of Italian cuisine is in its simplicity. All you need is a few fresh, good quality ingredients to make a fantastic meal. And if you can't get enough of real Italian food, that means that you have to visit again!

  16. Thanks everyone. Not made anything yet..but going to attempt to make my own pasta..ha ha that will be a laugh...can't even make pastry!

  22. I clicked on the Conca d'Oro link. Have you tried lemon granita? (It would be a great dessert after you've made something with the oil, tomatoes and Rowena's pasta.)
