Left Handed.
Leslie from The Pedalogue did a post about her little grandson and him being left-handed.
My youngest son is left-handed..I found it so hard with him, never having come across some left-handed before..I was really nervous when he tried to do something, that I thought was so easy..but when you come to think of it, he couldn;t get the jist of what I was trying to show him, and I didn;t understand why he was finding it so hard...!!!!
I never realized they had a Left Handers Day and have had annual celebrations for the last 16 years!!!
Left-Handers' Day 2008 is on Wednesday August 13th.

ReplyDeleteI checked out that lefthanded website - very interesting. It's only in the UK, though, right?
ReplyDeleteLeslie, the Left Handed Shop delivers about 30% to the USA..so they might do Canada.
ReplyDeleteClick on the site...scroll down, and on left hand side at the bottom it says anything left handed shop, click on that and you should get more info.
My grandfather remembered being caned for being left-handed at school. Thank goodness those days have gone.
ReplyDeleteYes, thank god those days have gone. I used to work with dyslexic adults back in the UK. (Not every left-handed person is dyslexic and not every dyslexic person is left-handed, but it is a major sign and linked with right/left brain activities.) Very often these people are creative, artistic, etc. Work with it, not against it.
ReplyDeleteHi Anne, thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteI am a fellow 'Leftie' and have always loved it. :)
