How else are the bees going to get on over here?Next year I'll be sure to add flowers, but more of the edible sort!ReplyDeleteMy Mélange30 June 2008 at 17:47Stunningly beautiful. I have never seen such a deep blue color in a flower before.ReplyDeleteAnne in Oxfordshire30 June 2008 at 19:11Thanks WL..Rowena you definetly need flowers in your garden!! My Melange, it is a Delphinium but not sure of the name. It seems to have come out darker than the label I have for it.http://www.david.bassett.care4free.net/topics3/delphs_from_seed_1.htmReplyDeleteMirre30 June 2008 at 20:48Such a beautiful blue colour!ReplyDeleteLinda1 July 2008 at 06:13Wow, what a great color of blueReplyDeleteLord James Bigglesworth1 July 2008 at 08:45The colour is superb.ReplyDeleteScintilla1 July 2008 at 13:38I love delphiniums and valiantly struggle to make them grow in my garden. I have absolutely no success because they disappear - and it's not the snails either!ReplyDeleteLiz2 July 2008 at 22:40What a beautiful colour!ReplyDeletebarbara3 July 2008 at 09:53Hi Anne,Nice to see you.Lovely shade of blue :)I don't think that this is a color that comes up often in flowers. And, I have always been partial to blue, so thumbs up !Our planting have not been very prolific so far. Flower seedling seem to be sprouting so slowly, and the arromatics also.Last year in France was a complete bust for the garden; too wet ! See you soon ;)ReplyDeleteleslie4 July 2008 at 05:37I love delphiniums and tried to grow some, but alas I was not successful. I might try again this year... or nextReplyDeleteCupcake Princesse7 July 2008 at 21:52Delphinium? Oh I just read below.. I LOVE this flower.. It's one of my favs..
