My lovely friend Krissa from the Philippines
sent me this wonderful postcard from Singapore.
The flower on the front is
Heliconia Latispatha
(Golden Lobster Claw)
a native plant of Mexico and Central and South America
I thought Krissa was on holiday there.
NO , she has moved there for work!!
Her message on the card is very sweet..

Oh gosh! I'd love to go to Singapore and stay at the Raffles Hotel - such a rich history. This is the one place my mother had always wanted to visit, but never made it...it would be for her that I'd go.
