A beautiful court yard ....

Going out for the day with Linda ,
was just amazing. Showing me little
court yards and other things that
she likes to see!

The courtyards date back to the 1300s
when the Bishops of Rouen made this their Paris residence.

There was a story that someone wanted to chop this tree down .. Why??
A fascinating tree and causing no harm as far a I am concerned.

This three-legged wrought-iron mounting block, known as a pas-de-mule,.
It is the last mounting block left in Paris.

And the covered well ....

Seeing Paris through the eyes of someone else is fascinating. Even walking around the streets , which you have been down before, just taking a different route , makes a difference !!!

  7. Anne, I would love to have a girl's weekend in Paris with you and Linda some time! I never would have known what that mounting block was. Thanks for playing along with Dreaming of France today. I thought our French visitor would enjoy a Mexican restaurant because Linda always talks about looking for good Mexican food in Paris! Here’s my Dreaming of France meme
