  1. Tours with girlfriends are always the best. Just today a group of us went to tour the home of Lord Leighton, and then tomorrow some of us are going to go on a walking tour of Camden Town-London, since that is the hub of Irish life here. It's fun sharing discoveries!

  2. Thank you Anne. I liked the walk along with the help of Google maps...how fun. I would just gawk at that architecture...which makes me wonder. Having lived around it a while...has any of it lost its charm? I am guessing no, but I was just curious.

  3. Those photos are absolutely amazing. I love all that architecture, and look at that wonderful blue sky. It actually warmed up here today to 16 degrees. Had to take my coat off whilst out for a walk. Lovely to feel the warmth again. Looking forward to Part 2! Believe it or not, I've never been to Oxford, but it's definitely on my list, especially when I was such an avid fan of Morse!!

  4. Great post Anne and what memories of a sunny day. Not sure when my Oxford photos will be posted, time is running out on me! Then I will be off line for probably a couple of weeks but anything could happen!
    Take care Diane x

  5. I loved the idea of showing the maps to go with your text and photos. Did you go to the Botanical Gardens? They are my favourite. I love to go there whatever the season as there is always something to see.
