but this one is a
little bit
Xtra
special !
It was sent to me
by my cousin Valerie,
who I have had no
contact with until this
year since 1966!!
Facebook has its Pros and Cons,
This was a Pro :-)
I found a cousin and her daughter
in South Africa, my second cousin
and his wife in Malta,
a second cousin in Denmark and
my cousin Valerie's grown up children,
who contacted her for me.
To think that
Valerie and her family
have been living in
ITALY
all this time,
so close and we
never knew!
Thank you for the lovely card!
that's amazing... I was just in Grado... it's such a cool city! I'll be taking Tracie P there in February... so glad you found each other... it is one of the most amazing things about FB.

The good side of FB certainly, such a great story, hope you get to meet up soon. It looks like you might have to do a grand tour of Italy.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great story Anne. I do hope you get to go and see your cousin soon.
ReplyDeleteA really lovely story. I think all this new technology is amazing, such as facebook, blogging etc. It makes the world seem a much smaller place somehow.
ReplyDeleteI am anti Facebook (!) but for you it seems to have had some very special results. Great news for you, hope you get to meet them soon.Diane
ReplyDeleteYou are so right--there are some incredible bonuses to being on Facebook. So happy you made the connections!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a good week,

ReplyDeleteIsn't the world small? I haven't had anyone contact me out of the past yet on Facebook but you never know.
ReplyDeleteAnother fab and extra special card :-)
ReplyDeleteDid you get mine from china ??
I was lucky enough to get a postcard from Sally on her trip to China. I'm not sure if Geoff sends them, something tells me he doesn't ;)
