at St Pancras and travelled back
with them to Paris.
They had been over on holiday.
The following day I met up with Barbara
(Leesa was busy, so couldn't come with us).
We had already discussed where we were going
so that was a start..! We headed for Parc Montsouris, we did
get there, but not first!
We went to the Cite international Universitaire de Paris
The Back
which is a fantastic building ..
Here is the front..
What an entrance!!
The Back
To get here you take the RER Line B .. it is in the 14th arrondissment.
A great place to see.. I have lots more photos to put up.
This is just the start!!

Sounds like a good start to the holiday to me. Looking forward to the rest of your trip. Diane
ReplyDeleteGreat photos...happy you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteOh, Anne. If there is a place that grips my heart of all places in Paris it is Cite de la Universitaire and Parc Montsouris. I am tearing up. my first two trips to Paris were with a non-denominational mission group (1993, 1997) I had the privilege of not only being in the city of love but also praying and serving alongside 23 other college students from all over the US. We would live in Maison Neerlandaise (our dorm) for two months while we made friends with international students, explored the 14th (esp. the lovely, lovely parc), and all falling for Paris. Thank you for showing these pics...so great. Actually when I took my hubby and kids in 2008 I toiled with re-visiting the 14th, but we only had three days and by that point in the trip their spirits were flagging so we didn't make it. So many memories are flooding back...Thank you for sharing.
