(taken from the internet)
I have been thrown off
balance in the last few months ..
not just a broken ankle but
a few other emotional things to deal with.
I am not sure how long it is going
to take me to bounce back and be my
usual happy self again.
I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends,
your support has meant so much to me.
I received a beautiful bouquet from
Diane aka Trubes ..
My favourite flower too.
I was truly touched..
and Barbara sent me a lovely card too..
all on the same day .. It cheered me up so much.
I am truly grateful that all I have is a broken ankle ..
I know that I am on the mend . ..
Emotions are tough to deal with!!!
THANK YOU TO DIANE, BARBARA
AND TO EVERYONE
FOR ALL THEIR WELL WISHES.
I know how you are struggling at the moment and my thoughts are with you. I am sure you will bounce back very soon. Chat soon. (The other) Diane xx
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you back here blogging again, Anne! It must be very frustrating for you at the moment, being laid up with that broken ankle. As you say, you will have to learn patience! That certainly wouldn't be easy for me, I must admit!! As well as your poor ankle, I do pray that the emotional side of things will get better soon as well. Thinking of you and sending hugs.
ReplyDeleteNow that you're home and it's good weather (hopefully) you will feel better. Sit outside, foot up, and feel the sun and the breeze on you, watch out for butterflies and birds, and just rest. Thinking of you and wishing you well,
ReplyDeleteLeslie
you need time and relax! I hope everything will be fine again
ReplyDeleteI really hate to hear that a broken ankle has slowed you down! Hope you can use this time for some refreshing and restoring down time to do all those things we "never get around to doing."
ReplyDeleteHope you're better soon!
Hey Anne, the fressia are blooming, I hope they smell as good as they look, I know you are going through a very difficult time emotionally, but take your time, it is a great healer...Thinking of you...Di..xx
ReplyDeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteI had the same mess with sciatica in Feb...immoblized and dependent.
But the body has a wonderful way of mending and the time it takes forces you to rethink yr formerly casual ways indeed.
get well soon Anne.
I'm a believer in water exercise for swift recovery once you are able.
But it's an ongoing process - keeping all the bits moving isn't it.
Take care

ReplyDeleteDear Anne,
ReplyDeleteFirst off, it was my pleasure again for the card. D & I are thinking of you.
Flowers were a lovely attention from Trube :)
My inner feeling is that yes, you will bounce back. You will mend and grow. The thing is we never know how we will end up, except we become stronger.
Hang in there, honey. xox
Anne - Whenever these things happen, we sometimes just see the negative, but the world will become sunnier in just a bit and you've got to keep that in mind. I hope things get better really soon for you.
