Hi Sally, some of the metros are far from dull.. one even had book displays in glass cabinets, ok maybe not glass but cabinets. Actually down where you catch the metro!! Can you imagine it !!
What beautiful art - and telling a story- so pleased you had your camera at the ready. yes I love the metros they are full of ambiance and energy -- busy busy with every-one going or coming from some-where. have a lovely week-end Anne Dianne xx
Ah, Paris, art in the unlikeliest of places. Thanks for the tour of some of the colleges in Oxford. How can people keep their minds on academics with such beckoning greenness and gorgeous architecture around. Great pictures too.
BonJour Anne, Thas Paris is'nt it, The whole city looks like a museaum. Please see this http://photographsupanddownthelane.blogspot.com/2009/06/la-art-on-streets-of-paris.html regards
This is quite something else! Truly a good thing that you had your camera at the ready. It's like putting on makeup....you never who (or what) you will meet!
Thank you to everyone for commenting, it certainly makes my day. A pleasure to see everyone of you. Old and New.. Blogging not only opens up the world but gives us new friends.
Was this at your local metro? Or are you in Paris now?

ReplyDeleteThat one of my favorite's too. If you ever get a chance get out on line 11 at the Art and Metiers stop. It's incredible as well in a different way.
ReplyDeleteThat is really beautiful :-)
