A Small French Market in Oxfordshire....

Yesterday I walked into town,on a very sunny day and saw a delight....A French Market!!! Didn't buy much, had a few tasters! It was great to see, the crowds of people, lets hope the market comes back again!!!

  7. Hello Anne, that all looks very good but must say that I am a bit cynical about these so called markets.
    I've been to so many and have been really disappointed with the produce when I've actually used it.
    I love France and the cuisine but have never been able to relive the wonderful experience of shopping at the local markets.
    The 'Marche Provencale' in Antibes is the most encapturing market that I have shopped in.....

    Perhaps I'm being a bit sniffy!

    Linda - Yes your right, Food or Antiques...The French markets have been over here for a while, and they seem to travel around this area..great for use :-)

    Barbara - They will be with us again, not sure when though. But I will certainly buy something next time, just couldn't make my mind up, it was just a joy looking around too!

  25. Anne, did they have French chocolate? I LOVE chocolate and have not been able to find any chocolate better than the French chocolate. I'm off to Belgium next month too so I may change my mind then ;)
