You Live in the Present |
You take things one day at a time. And it turns out, that's a pretty great way to live. You aren't consumed by the past, and you're aren't obsessed with the future. You live in the now, and you enjoy each moment. While most people don't live in the present enough, make sure you don't live in it too much. It would be a mistake to forget your past or neglect to plan for the future. |
If you want to give it a try here is the link.
future for me!
ReplyDeleteThat was fun, Anne, and to my surprise, I seem to live in the future too!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty :)
ReplyDeleteWell, must admit I'm trying to enjoy the present more, though I tend to spend my time preparing for the future...
Mine came out the same as you :-)
ReplyDeleteLiving in the present seems the best way to go. I think you enjoy life more that way.
ReplyDeleteHi Anne,
ReplyDeleteSince I'm somone that is very involved with Genealogy (my hubby's & my own), I would hve thought "past".
Wrong...
I live in the present, like yourself ! That's just fine my me.
Apparently, I live in the future like a few others here. This is what it says:
ReplyDeleteYou're an optimistic soul who's always looking forward to better times.
You spend a lot of time planning for and dreaming about the future.
You don't have emotional baggage or preconceived notions of how your life should turn out.
You're open to any and all possibilities. Who knows what the future will bring?
While it's good to be forward looking, make sure you broaden your perspective from time to time.
Too much dreaming about the future may lead to neglecting the present.
I TRY to live in the present- the "now." But, there are some things that keep me in the past- my mom, people whom I have lost that I think about often... and good memories, of course... I don't think TOO much about the future actually.... I don't know what's around the corner... I plan ahead but that's about it for the future!! Great post... Take care and have a nice WE.... Leese
ReplyDeleteHi everyone, so I live in the present, but it doesn;t stop me from thinking about past or the future...keeps me grounded I suppose, yes there is lots I would like to do, so I suppose little thoughts of the future don;t matter, and I am with Leesa on this one..I think of the past when I think about certain people who are no longer with us. Take care all.
ReplyDeleteLeesa been meaning to get back to your posts...been busy with the eldest grandson here, so will catch up with you very soon. :-)
i knew that I'd be in the present because that's the way I live and it's great!
