My Mission ....

is to do my garden.

Transform this....

into a flower bed. So today I cycled into town, to the garden centre and bought these.

  1. Hi Anne,

My hub and I spent over $160 in seed packets at Home Depot two weeks ago!! We bought LOTS of California wildflowers... and other stuff we can't find in France! We went back a week later and returned about 1/2 of our purchase! My plan is to give out packets as gifts to students and French friends who have gardens... I hope your garden work goes well... I know it's fun as well as hard work!! --Leesa

  2. You go girl! We made gardens at our last 2 places in the UK, I loved them both and hope they are still surviving. Now I have to hold back a bit from making my Italian garden due to excess rubble and no well. Good luck with yours.

  3. Great start! I have to wait until my daughter weeds out the mess first. Can't do it myself because of my back.

  4. Reminds me of the garden I had - get to it with the trowel and wheelbarrow and good luck.

  5. I am sure you will make it beautiful, Anne. You are a determined lady. Your lovely gift arrived today and I am just posting about it. Thank you so much. xx

  6. I'm having a lot more success with my flowers than with my vegs -- but it could be due to the fact that the temps (for growing vegetables) is still a bit too low up here in the mountains. Best of luck on your mission!

  7. Anne, you're doing much better than me. My garden looks terrible and my husband won't let me to buy any flowers because he says I'm a plant killer.

  8. This is what I have been doing over the last two weeks too. I totally transformed my garden after my sons ruined it because of their football. It's so lovely to have it back. I do enjoy it so much. You must come and visit when you are next in Cambridgeshire. Sit in the garden and enjoy a nice cool drink.
