The Sorrow Of Socks

I found this poem in one of my magazines, it made me laugh, as this is what happens to me, when washing socks!!!!!!

Some socks are loners -
They can't live in pairs.
On washdays they've shown us
They want to be loners
They puzzle their owners,
They hide in dark lairs.
Some socks are loners -
They won't live in pairs.

  2. Especially black socks! I never knew there were so many shades of black and none of the odd ones match. (Actually, no, they wouldn't because they're odd but do you have a slight understanding of what I'm meaning?)

  3. Hi Liz

Yes I have an understanding LOL. A few years ago I had to wash BLACK socks for my three males - Hubby and Sons, put sets in, never all the sets out!!!
