American Culinary Classic

My eldest son, along with 6 other chefs, has been chosen to represent Great Britain, in the 2007 American Culinary Classic, recognized as one of the premier world culinary competitions.

It will be held in conjunction with the Western Hemisphere’s largest foodservice and hospitality industry event, National Restaurant Association Restaurant Hotel-Motel Show, May 19-22 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

He has been a chef in Royal Air Force for the 14 years, and last year took part in the The Combined Services Culinary Challenge, where he won a gold medal, for his Platters.

  1. Sure he will do really well this time too... so wishing him lots of luck :-)

  2. We have Army cooks from Germany that partake. It's quite an honor.

  3. Yes, in bocca al lupo - good luck - to him. His platters are very pretty.

Thank you to everyone for commenting, it certainly makes my day. A pleasure to see everyone of you. Old and New.. Blogging not only opens up the world but gives us new friends.
