In November 2006, my husband and I had an unforgettable holiday in Sicily. We flew to Cantania, then hired a car and drove south to Marine Park of Plemmirio, where we found our gorgeous villa that we had rented. The photo to the left is of the view out of our kitchen window. We had our own private gate (pictured) to the beach, and apart from a few
fisherman in the morning and night, it was all ours. We were very lucky with the weather, so took full advantage, and lazed about and read, ate and drank!!!
Anne, why don't you visit Sicily Scene which is on by blogroll under other blogs, it is written by an English teacher who has retired there, I think you will find it really interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellee, just found it, very interesting and a very good read, especially all the recipes.
ReplyDeleteHi, Anne. How lovely to see photos and read about someone who has been here and liked it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ellee!
What a wonderful holiday this must have been Anne. Watch out WL (if you pop back and read this) - there may be a blogger convention on your doorstep one day - with you providing the catering. I jest really.
ReplyDeleteThanks Shirl...that would be fun, can imagine it, all turning up at WL's and what lovely food we would have!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou didn't find a sports bar in Catania that shows the F1 race by chance? Going there this weekend.
ReplyDeleteSend me a mail if you know of anything.
cheers!
