Wait a minute. That market looked as good as a French market. Is it? You don't hear much about English markets, so maybe you need to set us straight. Are they as good? Should we be travelling to Oxford for good food instead of France?
It looks much more like a French market than an English market to me as well, Anne. Such gorgeous photos of all that delicious cheese! Mmmm! Not long now before you go off on your travels - I expect you are getting excited!
Would you believe I found Boerewors sausages in our Central Market - very tasty - but unfortunately no Forme d'Ambert cheese. Sounds like you two bloggers had lots of fun!
How nice! I went to Oxford two weeks ago to find a dear friend of mine who lives there. I saw again many places from your photos. I love Oxford and the Cake Shop :)
Thank you to everyone for commenting, it certainly makes my day. A pleasure to see everyone of you. Old and New.. Blogging not only opens up the world but gives us new friends.
You have educated me today--I've never heard of your sausage or the cheese. Glad you two had fun in your search and that it was successful!

ReplyDeleteOne of my greatest weaknesses is for cheese, I love it so much! This post has made me so hungry I am now going to have to go and raid the fridge! :-)
