Holiday Nearly Here....Yippee

At long last our holiday is nearly here....and we can't wait.

We are heading off to Lake Como...is going to be so much fun. I have bought my map and book....to do a bit of research before we depart. Then yesterday I bought an Italian phrase book. Had to have a little practice....

We will be staying right on the lake ...the views are fantastic.... We will be quite near Laglio, where George Clooney has a house...never know might see him!!!

I was just having a look at some other blogs, and came across Kali, whilst reading I came across the post Spell with Flickr...just a bit of fun.I found her on Claudia's blog.

Christmas came early -

I arrived home from work on Thursday evening, after a hard days work, and there were TWO packages for me....One from Austria...from Claudia...it was the lovely bag she made from her Japanese craft book. It was her birthday 5th August and she had such a lovely time that she wanted to give something away...Claudia put all the names of people that had left comments for that post and the winner was me!!






And then my other surprise package was from Welshcakes Limoncello...lovely things from Sicily. Thank you so much..it was a very lovely surprise.

Cure for Colds - Chicken Noodle Soup

I have always had Chicken Noodle Soup as a comfort food when I have a cold or feel flu like symptoms, and I always use Knorr Chicken Noodle soup.

If you read down the article, you will find that the most effective of shop bought soups is Knorr Chicken Noodle soup .

So I have linked two articles for you to read on how effective it is and when it was first used.

Some scientists are not convinced...but I swear by it.
